After a 5-4 non-section loss to McKeesport on Friday, Baldwin baseball players will try to regroup for their first section game at Peters today.

“We had a lot of errors again, and we were struggling with our pitching,” junior Jon Kozarian said of Friday’s loss.

The game was not all bad, though.

“Brandon (Schleicher) hit well, and we fought up until the end,” Kozarian said.

The boys are not changing much for the game today against Peters. Last year Baldwin defeated Peters twice in section play.

“We just need to relax and just play the game. Last game we pressed too much,” he said. “We need to let the game play itself.”
