The boy’s tennis team was swept by Fox Chapel on Tuesday in an away match.
Junior Shishir Timsina said Fox Chapel’s team was very good and had a few potential state champions on the roster.
“We showed up thinking our No. 1, Terrence Ahlin, was going to face their No. 1 from last year,” Timsina said. “It turns out that they have someone on their team now who took the No. 1 away. It didn’t go well.”
Timsina said Baldwin did find a positive from the match.
“They did sweep us, but we made them earn it,” Timsina said. “That is something we were proud of.”
The boys still have confidence going forward, according to Timsina.
“We were expecting to face a tough match, so getting swept didn’t really deflate our confidence going forward,” Timsina said.
