Both the boys and girls swim teams beat Thomas Jefferson on Monday.
The boys won for the third time in a row, lifting their section record to 2-1 and overall record to 4-8.
Before the meet, the guys weren’t sure that they would win because T.J. is pretty fast and the Baldwin boys team lacks numbers, sophomore Joseph Hughey said.
“It’s pretty cool, considering that we have a small guys team,” Hughey said.
Hughey said Liam Watterson in particular did well at the meet.
The girls team, meanwhile, continued its dominant season, running their overall record to 10-2, with a 4-2 section record.
Hughey cited senior Jillian Pritchard and freshman Hailey Guzzi as key competitors for the girls team at the meet.
On Thursday the Baldwin teams have their final home meet of the season, a section competition against Peters.
