Passion Pit’s new album Kindred remains true to the style seen in the band’s past two albums. With unique techno sounds mixed in with their indie style, Kindred makes a great album to blast in the car with the windows down and perfect still for relaxing and doing homework. The fourth song on the album, “All I Want,” gives listeners a typical love song but disguises it with a fun, catchy beat that can get anyone to sing along. If there are any songs with sad lyrics, a person could not tell because the melody disguises the meaning and instantly puts listeners in a good mood. Passion Pit is an underrated band that deserves more praise for its interesting style. Music fans who are looking for new summer music should check out this album.
