Today is one of the most anticipated days of the school year for seniors; they are putting their handprints on the stairwell wall for everyone who walks these halls to see.
“It’s a tradition we started with the completion of the new building about six years ago. It’s cool to see people leave their symbol on the school. Some students like it even more than the graduation ceremony,” Dr. Daniel Harrold said.
Students began leaving their mark in 2010, and ever since it’s been a sign that graduation is in the near future and their senior year is coming to an end.
“The handprints make me happy because I’ve come a long way and it makes me realize how close it really is until graduation,” said senior Carrie Bigenho.
