Baldwin will be hosting its first Career, College and Community Fair on March 12.
While students may be familiar with college fairs, this event will include tech schools and career options as well – and it will be open to the community as well as students during a 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. session.
“We have not only colleges coming but corporations as well,” counselor Caroline Babik said. ”I want everyone to experience the different careers in the world, since college isn’t for everyone.”
Colleges attending include Pitt, Penn State, Seton Hill, Slippery Rock, and La Roche. Rosedale Tech, Bradford and Triangle Tech are among the tech schools coming to the event.
Participating companies include Keller Williams Real Estate, Equipco and the Steelers organization, and representatives from the Army, Navy, Marines, and Air National Guard will be there as well.
Freshmen and sophomores will attend the fair during seventh period, and juniors and seniors will attend during eighth period.
