Baldwin’s Rocket League esports team defeated Muhlenberg 3-0 on Monday.
Senior Braydon Parker said the team did well, giving each other space.
“We rotated well and weren’t in each other’s way,” he said. “Everyone was spaced out how they should’ve been.”
Sophomore Darren Fornof, though, said their spacing could still use some work.
“We definitely have to work on our positioning. We need to space ourselves out a little more,” he said.
Fornof said that despite the spacing issues, the team “had a lot of good communication.”
Parker said junior Ethan Green stood out during the game.
“He was confident in the air and made sure to challenge the ball when he needed to,” Parker said
Fornof said Parker also had a great match
“Braydon Parker stood out. He showed exceptional teamwork,” Fornof said.
Parker said that Muhlenberg played well on defense. He also said Baldwin wants to work on offense before the season ends.
“We could improve on offense,” he said. “There were a few times when we could have scored but didn’t make it.”
There are two more matches left in the season. After the last game, the team will find out if they made it to the playoffs.
The next match is on Monday.
