Baldwin’s Rocket League esports team won 3-0 against Philadelphia Electrical and Technology Charter School on Wednesday.
Coach Nathan Elias said the Highlanders were strong on defense.
“We did well on defense, only letting up three goals across all three games,” Elias said.
The coach said Braydon Parker played particularly well.
“Braydon did a great job defensively. He made a lot of saves, and he made a lot of great passes during the series as well,” Elias said.
The Philadelphia school gave it their all, he said.
“The other team still put in high effort, although they were behind for the whole series,” Elias said.
As for Baldwin, Elias said the team “could do better at communicating and not overcommitting.”
The Highlanders’ next game will be on Monday against Midd-West High School from Middleburgh, Pa.
