This past weekend, Gavin Adcock made his way to Stage AE for a high-energy show on the 17th stop of the Need To Tour.
Adcock, who started releasing music in 2021, has mastered the art of using social media to grow his music following. From starting feuds with Beyonce and her fanbase for not being “real country music,” to arguing with Zach Bryan at music festivals for his attitude, Adcock isn’t afraid to speak his mind.
When Adcock was getting ready to walk out to the stage, Toby Keith’s song “Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue” was blasting. This led to the crowd shouting “USA” and chanting “Adcock” as they waited for the man of the night to come out.
When he walked out to the stage singing the song, “Sweetheart,” the crowd erupted in cheers, and from that point on, the venue never lost that energy.
This is the second time Adcock has come to Pittsburgh, with the first time being a 21+ event. The sold-out crowd kept the energy electric when he played fan favorite songs like “Need To” and “Past Actions.”
He played one cover song during his show – one of Hank Williams Jr.’s best-known songs, “Dinosaur.”
Adcock was never stationary throughout the whole concert, and he was all over the stage. He would jump around from platform to platform and get right next to his band members, making the viewing experience even more special.
He eventually found his way to his signature shirtless look by the end of the show. He ended the night with one of his most popular releases, “Run Your Mouth.”
Ultimately, Adcock gave a great performance to his sold-out crowd, and gave his fans a night to remember.
