The Baldwin golf team lost to Peters Township 230-200 at Valley Brook on Thursday.
Senior Mack Dempsey had a big round for the Highlanders, shooting a 42.
The team is not letting a few losses bring them down for the rest of the season. Junior Jesse Moder said he will help keep their heads up for their next match.
“You’re always trying to keep your teammates in high spirits,” Moder said.
The team uses their bonding as a way to push aside losses and come back stronger against their next opponent. Junior Logan Seifert acknowledged the team’s connection.
“We all have a good time, win or lose, so I would say we have good chemistry,” Seifert said.
The team will play Mt. Lebanon at South Hills on Tuesday.
