The Baldwin girls lacrosse team lost 18-6 against Penn-Trafford on Monday.
Senior Alexa Sherman credited Penn-Trafford’s offense.
“Penn-Trafford had very good movement on offense,” Sherman said.
Sherman said that the Highlanders need to improve on the defensive side of the ball.
“We need to improve on our communication on defense and our transitions up the field,” she said.
Despite the result, Sherman said junior Olivia O’Malley was a team positive.
“Olivia O’Malley stood out with her aggressiveness on the circle,” Sherman said.
Goal scorers for Baldwin were O’Malley with three goals, senior Milana Winowich with two goals, and Sherman with one.
With this loss, the Highlanders fall to 4-8
The girls next play at Upper St. Clair at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
