The Baldwin boy’s tennis team lost 4-1 to Butler High School on Thursday.
Despite the loss. senior Ryan Priano, a first-year tennis player, had a strong personal performance. Priano won his match, 6-0 and 6-1.
“We lost as a team,” Priano said. “But I did very well and my serves were good during the match.”
As a team, Priano feels they can improve if they can work on their consistency. Junior Carter Smeal, Priano said, also played particularly well and showed this consistency.
The team is set to face North Allegheny on Monday, a game that Ryan expects to be a challenge.
