The Baldwin softball team lost to Trinity on Monday, 7-2.
Junior Reese Temme credited Trinity for playing a strong game.
“They were able to hit well,” she said.
The Highlanders played well but struggled in various areas, Temme said.
“We played good defense,” she said. “We struggled to time their pitcher and hit consistently.”
Senior Ryley Shaw and freshman Cam Temme stood out for the Highlanders.
“Ryle stood out for getting momentum going with a home run,” Reese Temme said. “Cam stood out for her good throws and plays in right field.”
The team is 8-2 overall and 5-1 in section.
The team’s next game is today at 4 p.m. at Connellsville.
