The Baldwin unified bocce team lost to South Park 13-0 on Tuesday.
Even though the Highlanders lost, junior Becca Wilds said several players still performed well.
“Emily Nowicki and Nathan Davis did well,” Wilds said. “They used strategies that we have been talking about in practice and had good energy going into it.”
Wilds also appreciated the team’s cooperation and good attitude.
“Our sportsmanship was really good. We were discouraged at the beginning, but we kept a positive attitude,” Wilds said.
Wilds said South Park did so well because their team is so experienced.
“They are a very experienced team. They know what they are doing and do it well,” Wilds said.
Wilds said Baldwin needs to continue to work on improving.
“We could have worked on more strategies in practice,” Wilds said.
The team’s next game is away on Monday against Mt. Lebanon.
