The Baldwin girls basketball team defeated Bethel Park on Friday night, 67-57.
Junior Bella Niles said the Highlanders played a very smart game.
“We moved the ball well and our shot selection was very good,” Niles said.
Junior guard Jules Ott played particularly well, Niles said.
“She scored a lot for us,” Niles said.
Baldwin also played great defense.
“All of us guarded well and forced them into tough shots,” Niles said. “Our interior defense especially stood out to me and was a key to winning the game.”
Despite the victory, there is always something to improve on.
“Our communication was lacking, which led to some turnovers and easy shots,” Niles said.
The Highlanders look to pick up another win against Thomas Jefferson at home on Tuesday night at 6 p.m.
