Dua Lipa’s new live album, Dua Lipa Live At the Royal Albert Hall, provides a more orchestrated sound for her pop songs.
It features all the songs from the Radical Optimism album she released in May as well as songs from her earlier albums. The orchestrated sound is created by the Heritage Orchestra.
On the opening “Overture,” the fans go wild as she comes out to perform. A standout moment comes when she performs “Cold Heart” alongside Elton John, from his album The Lockdown Session.
Lipa’s “Be the One” from the 2015 album Don’t Start Now is also a highlight. It reminds listeners of her growth and the maturity in her sound as her live singing beautifully embraces her British accent.
The finale, “Don’t Start Now,” has over 2 billion streams already and is electrifying. Her energy inspires the audience to start singing along.
This live compilation of Lipa’s songs from over the years creates a mix of genres. Fans old and new will find something to love in this dazzling performance.
