The Baldwin girls basketball team lost to Peters Township on Tuesday night, 64-42.
Junior Bella Niles said Peters had some tall players who helped them secure the win.
“They have a really tall girl, and there is only so much you can do when you have such a small team,” she said.
Niles credits Jules Ott for some of Baldwin’s success during the game.
“Jules did really well. She attacked the middle, scored really big shots, and she overall played really well,” she said.
Niles said the Highlanders could have played better offensively.
“We needed to make more shots. There were a lot of shots that should have gone in, but we played hard,” Niles said.
The team’s next game is against Trinity at home at 6 p.m. Friday.
