The Baldwin boys basketball team defeated the Brashear Bulls 73-31 in a non-section game on Friday night.
Junior guard Max Marzina said it was a complete game for the Highlanders.
“No one really stood out for us. Everyone did really well and played to their strengths,” Marzina said.
He said the Highlanders started out hot and never looked back.
“Coming out of the gates strong helped us out a lot, since we jumped out to an 18-2 lead,” Marzina said.
Marzina said Baldwin shot well throughout the game.
“Everyone on the team scored for us, which just shows we were having a good night shooting the ball,” Marzina said.
The Highlanders will have one of their biggest games of the young season Tuesday against Peters Township in the team’s first section game. Both teams are currently undefeated.
Marzina wants the Highlanders to be on the top of their game.
“We need to work on rebounding as a team since Peters has good rebounding bigs, and we’ve been lacking on offensive rebounds lately,” Marzina said.
The game will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Peters Township.
