For only being her second full album, Am I Okay? (I’ll Be Fine) by Megan Moroney shows no sign of a sophomore slump.

Moroney previewed the title song, “Am I Okay?” on TikTok earlier this year, which let fans know she was creating a new album. Her previous studio album, Lucky, helped Moroney quickly gain a large following. 

The title song contains the lyrics, “Maybe love ain’t always what it was / Not crying and dying and messing me up.” These lyrics match the style of her previous album. 

This new album is similar to this one. They have similar meanings behind the songs, and her songs have individual stories behind them. 

The song “28th of June” adds a personal touch as she talks about a breakup she went through. The song is about the day that was supposed to be her and her boyfriend’s anniversary, but since they broke up, it is just another day for her. 

Moroney has earned her spot in the world of women in country music. She adds her personal touch to each of her songs, which creates her own take on the country genre.
