The girls volleyball team lost 3-0 to Mt. Lebanon on Thursday.
Baldwin lost the first set 25-9, the second set 27-25, and the third set 25-19. Junior Mia Wyse said the girls needed to keep their energy up and remain focused.
“I think we can improve by putting 100 percent effort into our practices every day,” Wyse said. “If you do that, it will show in games.”
Wyse thinks Senior Avery Barrett played really well against Mt. Lebanon.
“She sets perfectly for our hitters no matter where the ball is, and she is always hustling to get to the ball,” Wyse said. “She also served very well yesterday, didn’t miss any serves and she had an ace.”
The girls really improved their play in the last two sets, with the second being their best, Wyse said.
The team’s current record is 2-3.
They play at home next Tuesday against Canon Mac at 7:30 pm.
