The Baldwin football team lost 49-0 to West Mifflin on Friday.
“There is a lot to work on,” senior Nico Mizell said. “We especially need to work on stopping the other team’s run game better.”
“We need to tackle better on defense,” sophomore Daniel Brown said.
West Mifflin’s sophomore running back, Armand Hill, gave Baldwin trouble. He had 171 yards and six touchdowns.
“He was one of the best running backs we’ve seen because of his shiftiness and speed,” Brown said.
There were still some positives for Baldwin.
“Cenzo Pacella played well on offense,” Brown said. “He had a lot of good blocks.”
“Everyone had some good plays throughout the game,” Mizell added.
Brown and Mizell each thought that, individually, they could have played better as well.
“I played decent, but it wasn’t my best game,” Mizell said.
“I played okay,” Brown said. “I had some missed tackles on defense that I can clean up for next game.”
Baldwin’s next game is this Friday against Chartiers Valley.
