A$AP Rocky’s second studio album, 2015’s At. Long. Last. A$AP, embodies the sub-genre of cloud rap.
Rocky is a unique rapper with a slightly different style. One of the songs that embodies this style is “L$D.” The song has a euphoric feeling describing how it feels to be in a relationship.
This album includes many features. The most prominent ones include Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and ScHoolboy Q.
Kanye West has the best feature, on the song “Jukebox Joints.” This is the best overall song on the album, with great flow from both Rocky and West.
The most popular track on the album is called “Everyday.” This song provides a great sample from “In a Broken Dream,” which came out in 1972. The sample provides good vocals during the chorus.
Singer and songwriter Joe Fox is featured many times during this album. He provides great vocals in songs like “Pharsyde” and “Holy Ghost.”
Songs like “Wavybone” and “JD” are some of the more boring tracks on this album. They don’t show off Rocky’s talents nearly as much as his other tracks.
Overall Rocky shows his unique style throughout this album with plenty of great tracks.
