The Baldwin boys lacrosse team lost 14-3 against Seton La-Salle on Wednesday.
For Baldwin’s senior recognition, each senior got to start for their last home game. Senior Aidan Gannon said that felt good.
“It was great for us seniors to have the chance to start,” he said. “We just wished the game had ended differently for us.”
Senior Zach Dutko also played his minutes for the varsity squad last night.
“It felt good to be out there. It was a thrilling experience,” Dutko said.
Seton got off to a fast start on the Highlanders, scoring the first seven goals of the game before junior Anthony Dicesero scored the first Baldwin goal.
Gannon thought the Highlanders needed to play better defensively to benefit both sides of the ball.
“Our defense leads to our offense,” he said. “If we cannot get stops, our offense cannot gain momentum.”
