Pittsburgh native Fedd The God’s new album Soul Searching is unfortunately disappointing.
The first two songs of the album, “BBN” and “Catalina Wine Mixer,” are not good songs and do not build high expectations for the album.
The album overall is not much better, with no songs that are amazing. The only songs that stand out are “Mother’s Day” and “100,” but they are still not great.
Although Fedd The God is not the biggest rapper, he has done songs with Wiz Khalifa and Jimmy Wopo. The only person featured on this album is Latia, who is not a well known artist. She appears on “100,” and the song would not be as good without her feature.
One thing that makes this album bad are the lyrics. They are not creative and they are dry. The beats are not any better, since they are very basic.
One good thing about this album is that it is only 26 minutes long and is a quick listen. Overall, though, this is not an enjoyable listen.
