The Baldwin boys volleyball team defeated Upper St. Clair 3 sets to 1 on Thursday night.
Sophomore Alex Kelly said the Highlanders capitalized on USC’s errors.
“USC started to make lots of mistakes and we took advantage to make our lead even bigger,” Kelly said.
Senior Logan Pack played a great game, Kelly said.
“Logan Pack played very well. He had 18 kills with minimal errors,” Kelly said.
The Highlanders were able to fight back despite falling behind in several sets.
“We were very good at gaining points back when we got down,” Kelly said. “We also always picked each other back up after mistakes.”
Although the Highlanders pulled out the win, it wasn’t easy.
“USC made very few serving errors, which kept them in the game,” Kelly said.
The Highlanders will take on the Moon Tigers at home at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
