Baldwin boys lacrosse fell to Peters Township 19-1 on Friday.
Junior Mausum Acharya gave some insight into what their opponents did well.
“They were able to cause a lot of turnovers,” Acharya said. “This limited our possession on offense.”
Despite the loss, there were still some positives.
“Nate Buys was a standout player,” Acharya said. “He was playing aggressive and sharp defense all game.”
Junior Gavin Serafini gave credit to Trevor Brain.
“He had good passes and catches all game, and he scored our only goal of the game,” Serafini said.
The team has improvements to make for their next game.
“We have to improve our sliding on defense,” Acharya said. “And we have to improve our ability to hold possession on offense.”
The Highlanders also need to improve their passing and moving up the field into the offensive zone, Serafini said.
The Highlanders will go up against the Canon Mac Big Macs tomorrow at 7 p.m. at home.
