Baldwin boys baseball lost two games to Norwin on Sunday.
The first game was close and ended up being a 1-0 win for Norwin, while the second game was a more lopsided 10-4 victory for Norwin.
Senior Bryce Jones said Baldwin needs to get better at the fundamentals.
“We need to work on our hitting, pitching, and baserunning if we want to win more games,” Jones said.
Norwin was able to win because they did the simple things like pitching and fielding, Jones said.
Senior Adam Ledbetter was a standout for the Highlanders in the two games.
“Adam went 4-6 on the day with a couple extra base hits,” he said
Ledbetter and junior Dylan Hartman pitched well.
“Adam and Dylan pitched six combined scoreless innings in the first game,” Jones said.
The boys will next play against Hempfield on Tuesday.
