Of all the great releases from the summer, one of the real standouts is Borgore’s new album, #NewGoreOrder. Boregore opens the album with the title song, featuring actor Malcolm McDowell. Following up with “Hate,” Borgore kills it with the simplicity of a house bass bringing out the bass bounce that every song needs. Then perhaps his best known song, “Decisions,” featuring Miley Cyrus, provides more variety to this already random album. It adds a good change of pace considering that there aren’t mainstream singers on most electro albums. Finally Borgore closes the album with “Fame,” the biggest curveball on the album: Borgore raps his own song using beats that he made himself. All in all there is a large variety radiating from #NewGoreOrder. Many people who listen would either love it or hate it, but overall it is a good album that is worth a listen.
