The Baldwin Boys Lacrosse team lost to Butler on Monday, 24-1.
“Butler has a lot more game experience than us as well as better passing and shooting skills,” sophomore Alex Myers said.
The Highlanders know they have work to do this season.
“We need to improve our defensive positioning and work on our offense,” Pacella said.
Although the boys only scored one goal, they kept their spirits high, junior Cenzo Pacella said. Junior Anthony Dicesaro stood out for his constant efforts during the game, Pacella said.
“He kept his energy up throughout the game and scored a really good goal for the team,” he said.
Even after this hard loss, the team is working to keep their focus on the upcoming games. The next game is Saturday at home against North Hills.
