Netflix’s new movie Damsel features Millie Bobby Brown on a journey in a dragon’s cave.
This fantasy and adventure film includes a damsel named Elodie, played by Brown, who comes from a poor village and needs financial help. Then, her father, Lord Bayford, comes to her with a marriage proposal from a wealthy royal family.
After their family travels to the royal family’s palace, Elodie decides to talk to the prince to see if they get along, which they do. She then agrees to marry him.
During her marriage ceremony with Prince Henry, played by Nick Robinson, she finds out that her life has been traded to pay for an ancient debt of the royals that involves dragons living nearby.
Brown does a great job with the acting and this film will be a significant addition to her acting career. She has chemistry with the cast, which makes everything more interesting almost instantly.
The cinematography and animation are also excellent, distracting the audience from some unrealistic falling scenes.
The plot is pretty easy to follow since there is only one main character and it’s just about her journey.
This movie is really good, especially for viewers who like classic fantasy and adventure.
