Baldwin ice hockey team lost to Mount Lebanon 12-4 on Thursday.
Lebo started off with three goals because the Highlanders started out slow, sophomore Nate Buys said.
“I think we played okay defensively but gave up a lot of shots,” Buys said.
Scoring for Baldwin were sophomores Buys and Mack Dempsey, junior James Williams, and senior Tanner Plinta. Freshman goalie Anthony Herman did well when he was put in during the second period, despite it being his first game, Buys said.
But Baldwin lacked teamwork and togetherness, he said.
“We just didn’t have the same aggression as usual, and we didn’t play good as a team,” Buys said.
Junior Logan Cramer said Baldwin made good shots, but Lebo hit well and had good defense.
The team’s overall is now 1-16-2. Their next game is Thursday against North Allegheny, which will be the team’s last game of the season.
