The Baldwin bowling team swept Neighborhood Academy 3-0 on Wednesday.
Junior Kelson Kleinhampl said he was impressed with the team’s achievement.
“Our team performed great,” Kleinhampl said. “We were all very consistent, and there were many high games.”
Junior Nico Puglin believes that having a match at home was important.
“We did not face any challenges today and the match went well because we were at home and we knew the lane conditions,” Puglin said.
Both Puglin and Kleinhampl said junior John Clemons was a standout.
“John had a great match, combining for a 600 in all three games that we played. One game he bowled a 244,” Puglin said.
After this match, Puglin has high hopes for their team for the rest of the season.
“I think our team has a lot of potential for the rest of the season. I think that we will definitely make the playoffs this year,” Puglin said.
The team’s next match is Wednesday against Bishop Canevin at Nobel Manor.
