Baldwin’s bowling team lost to Carlynton on Wednesday.
Junior Nico Puglin said the whole team, including himself, could have done better.
“I personally could have done better in all three matches,” Puglin said.
The Highlanders had to face the challenge of adapting to the lane conditions, Puglin said. But they can perform much better, he said.
“Our team’s performance was not the best it could have been. I know we will definitely rebound and win our next match,” Puglin said.
Although the Highlanders lost the match, there were still people on the team who stood out. One was junior Jon Clemons, who bowled a 200 in one game, Puglin said.
Puglin knows that the team has work to do before the next match.
“In our next match, we can work on consistency and confidence throughout the game. This will definitely help us a lot,” Puglin said.
The next match will be on Jan. 3 at West Pike against Canon-Mac.
