Baldwin’s bowling team defeated Neighborhood Academy on Friday night.
The boys won by a comfortable margin, with senior Andrew Deiuliis and freshman Brody Dilla playing key roles in the victory.
“Andrew bowled an impressive 266 and Brody won comfortably on varsity every time,” senior Angelo Mancuso said.
Deiuliis was able to make his mark in the first game with seven straight strikes, which showed how dominant he can be as a player, Mancuso said.
With this win, the team has started strong with a 2-0 record and is looking to continue to build their momentum as the season goes on.
Mancuso believes that the team is a force to be reckoned with as they continue to improve.
“Our team is competitive. … We all want to do better and we’re all fighting for the team and for ourselves,” he said. “This pushes us to improve each week and to prepare better for our matchups.”
The Highlanders play Bishop Canevin on Wednesday night at Legacy Lanes.
