The Baldwin Fighting Highlanders ice hockey team lost to Mt. Lebanon Tuesday night, 4-3.
Junior Goalie Austin Landosky played a nice game, making a lot of nice saves, teammates said.
“Without him we don’t stay in that game for that long,” senior defenseman Aidan Gannon said.
The Highlanders got goals early from senior Tanner Plinta and junior Logan Cramer, and they added another goal in the third period from junior Jeremy Pollard. But could not overpower Mt. Lebanon’s offense.
There are several things the Highlanders need to figure out if they want to step up their level of competition, Ganno said.
“We need to communicate better on the ice and get more pucks deep in the other team’s zone,” Gannon said. “You have to know your role on the team, because everyone has one.”
Their next matchup is against Cathedral Prep at Villa Maria Academy on Nov. 21.
