Baldwin’s Valorant esports team lost 2-0 against Carlisle on Tuesday.
Senior Annan Gurung felt the team started off strong in Game 1 but slowed down in Game 2.
“Carlisle was very well coordinated,” Gurung said, “They stuck together as a team and took advantage of our mistakes.”
Some of the mistakes Carlisle took advantage of were Baldwin’s lack of teamwork and positioning, Gurung said.
Although it was a rough match for Baldwin, there were still positives that came out of it.
“We had good communication between teammates throughout the entire match”, Gurung said.
Gurung is confident in his team to bounce back from the loss, as he believes they can beat Belle Vernon, as well as any team they face.
The team looks to improve on their mistakes and hope for a win next week.
“I am confident that our team will bounce back,” Gurung said, “We have many great players that I am sure will improve for next week.”
