Homecoming week is famous for off the wall traditions, but they pale in comparison to the new tradition of taping Principal Walter Graves to the wall.
The fundraiser involved students paying $1 to tape Graves to the wall outside of the north café, while he stood on a chair. When Graves was securely taped, the chair was removed.
Purple and white duct tape was sold during lunch periods and Graves was left hanging during sixth period.
“My calves are starting to hurt, but I’ll be all good once I start hanging,” Grave said during fifth period.
“We raised about $120 by the end of sixth period,” senior class President Alexx Suchy said. “The money is going to support the senior class.”
