The boys soccer team fell to Upper Saint Clair 5-1 on Tuesday night.
Junior Will Penrod thought the team did well at the beginning.
“The score was only 1-0 in the first half,” Penrod said. “We did not let them score until there was 10 minutes left in the first half.”
Although the Highlanders started out strong in the first half, they did not come out as hot in the second half. Upper Saint Clair then were able to create good chances to score, Penrod said.
“We let them score easy goals in the beginning of the second half,” Penrod said.
Baldwin still had positives throughout the game. Senior Mikey Fry played well in the midfield, and senior Dang Le played strong center back, Penrod said.
The Highlanders’ next game is away against Peters Township on Thursday.
