Baldwin’s girls and boys cross country teams did well at the Blue Devil Invitational in Hermitage.
The girls team earned 4th place out of 25 teams, while the boys got 14th place out of 27 teams.
Sophomores Jules Ott and Molly Gorman said the team worked hard.
“Both the boys and girls teams were running great times, which helped us in the overall rankings,” Ott said.
Gorman recognized senior Kenzie Hirt’s efforts during the meet.
“She got 13th place overall and really helped the team’s ranking with that,” Gorman said.
Both girls also recognized the efforts of the boys team.
Sophomore Alex Castaneda got 39th place and junior Ryan Priano earned 58th place.
“They both ran really impressive times,” Ott said.
The next meet is being held at White Oak Park on Tuesday against Bethel Park and Upper St. Clair, and is also Senior Rec for the team.
