The girls volleyball team fell to Canon-McMillan 3-0 on Tuesday night.
Although the team struggled, some players were still able to shine.
“Sophomores Mia Wyse and Ashley Skowronski were able to defend well against Canon-Mac’s good hitters and they were our best passers,” junior Avery Barrett said.
The girls were also able to serve and dig balls well for five straight points during the third set.
“The energy was really high and our blocking was at its best,” Barrett said.
However, even with these efforts, the team is still looking to improve on their serving and blocking as well as better trusting each other on the court.
“We need to be able to trust each other more,” Barrett said. “The more games we play, the more we build trust with each other.”
The girls will look to bounce back against Bethel Park on Thursday night.
