The boys soccer team fell 8-1 to Peters Township Tuesday night.
Junior Will Penrod believes the team has to make a lot of improvements to be successful during the rest of the season.
“Moving the ball better on offense would help our team a great amount,” Penrod said.
The Highlanders also need to maintain a good mentality going out onto the field, Penrod said.
On the other hand, Peters took advantage of their scoring opportunities, which made their team successful throughout the game.
“They were moving the ball really well,” Penrod said.
Although the Highlanders did not play at their best ability, they still had some positives throughout the game.
“We moved the ball well during the first half,” Penrod said.
Senior Jake Kunzman and senior Dang Le played a great game, Penrod said.
“Kunzman played great defensively, and Le gave us many opportunities on offense,” he said.
Penrod himself had a solid game, as he stayed consistent throughout the entire game, he said.
The Highlanders will be facing off against Allderdice on Thursday night at home.
