The girls volleyball team fell to Seneca Valley on Thursday night.
The game ended in three sets, as Baldwin could not get a win on any of them
Despite the loss, the Highlanders played well on defense, junior Avery Barrett said.
“Our defense got way better from our game on Tuesday night,” Barrett said. “We trust each other more on the court, which makes a big difference.”
On the other hand, the Highlanders’ offense was lacking.
“The offense is a big thing we need to work on. We are not the tallest team, but we can speed up our game to make us more competitive,” Barret said.
Sophomore Mia Wyse really stood out in the match, Barrett said.
“Mia is always someone you can count on to make a play,” Barrett said.
The Highlanders will go up against Fox Chapel at home on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
