The boys lacrosse team lost 20-1 against Central Catholic on Sunday.

The team was losing 15-0 at the end of the first half, but sophomore Gavin Serafini scored a Baldwin goal before the end of the game. Sophomore Cody Garrett said it was well executed.

“We had a good breakaway goal at the end,” Garrett said.

Garrett said freshman Evan Szpara played well during the game.

He played “very good defense and played as hard as he could,” Garrett said.

Garrett believes that for his team to improve, they must play more physically.

“I am looking forward to our next couple of games,” Garrett said.

The team’s next game is Tuesday away against Hempfield.
