Baldwin’s indoor percussion team finished second and indoor guard finished fourth at the TIA competition at Greater Latrobe on Sunday.

The percussion team finished with a score of 75 and guard earned 79.

“We did well in percussion, but the other teams performed better with how they moved and expressed music better than us,” sophomore Sean Burns said.

Junior Julia Graham said the indoor guard did great at staying together and having good energy.

“Baldwin needs to focus on keeping their spirits high and know that they will improve with every competition,” Graham said.

Both teams will perform at TIA Championships, which they are optimistic about.

“I’m hopeful for the championships. I think we will win like we did last year,” Burns said.

Both teams will be competing at Baldwin on Saturday.
