Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi has released an EP, Wish You The Best, with stronger emotions than any of his past creations.

While the EP has only four songs, the emotions packed into each lyric make it a true masterpiece. This is Capaldi’s third release, and while all of his songs hit intensely with listeners, this album in particular digs deep into the heart, pulling pure emotions and memories.

In the title track, “Wish You the Best,” he describes his feelings of losing someone and not knowing how they are doing. The sorrow in the song comes from knowing it was his fault that this relationship ended, so all he can really do is wish them the best.

The song “Forget Me” discusses how much it hurts to be close to someone, but then the relationship ends and that person moves on and forgets the common memories.

There is only one imperfection on this album: The upbeat music of “Forget Me” does not complement the incredibly sad lyrics. A different musical style would have worked better.

Overall the whole album perfectly describes a mixture of sadness and anger

and should be added to everyone’s crying playlist.
