The girls lacrosse team earned a big win on Wednesday, defeating Hempfield 15-2 on their senior rec night.

Seniors Eva Semieraro and Marissa Bordone said the team’s atack side of the field played well.

We were communicating on offense, which helped us score all of our goals,” Bordone said.

Bordone also gave a shout out to the midfielders.

“Our midfielders won most of the draws, which helped us get the ball down to the offensive end easily,” Bordone said.

Semieraro complimented sophomore Aliza Very and senior Kaitlyn Porter for their roles in the win.

“They both scored and had a lot of good plays,” Semieraro said.

The seniors were especially proud of this win.

It felt special to get the win on senior night and all the seniors had a great game. The energy was really high on and off the field,” Bordone said.

The team’s next game is on Monday at Canon-McMillan.
