Sophomores Cody Garrett and Garrett Pogany both scored three goals, but Baldwin boys lacrosse lost to Penn-Trafford 17-8 on Monday night.

Penn-Trafford did well getting past Baldwin’s defenders, Garrett said. Baldwin was not fast enough at defending the goal and getting the ball off of the other team, he said.

But even though Baldwin lost, this was their best game of the season. Baldwin “kept the score gap lower” than previous games, and in the next couple of games, they “can really improve off of this one,” Garrett said.

In addition the goals from Garrett and Pogany, Baldwin got one goal each from sophomores Preston Faight and Trevor Brain both got one goal each. .

“I’m looking forward to our next couple of games,” Garrett said. “I think it’s going to be a lot better for us.”
