The Baldwin baseball team lost to Hempfield 10-0 on Thursday.
“We definitely struggled, but I think all of us tried our hardest,” senior Dylan Snyder said.
The game was scoreless until the third inning, and then Hempfield took over.
“We could have focussed more throughout the game and pushed ourselves more,” Snyder said.
“Senior Carson Chapel and junior Adam Ledbeter are the players that stood out the most yesterday,” junior Hunter Craig said.
Craig agreed that the team should have done better.
“We slacked off after Hempfield started to score more,” he said.
The team hopes that after this loss they can still win enough games to make it to playoffs this season. They plan on using this loss to push them harder at their next game.
The team’s next game is a home game on Monday, April 17, 2023, against Central Catholic
