Boys wrestling fell to Ringgold Wednesday night, 48-25.

Junior Keith Mincin was disappointed in the loss and thinks the team could have performed better.

“It was difficult fighting them off our backs, and we gave up extra team points,” Mincin said.

Mincin also said their opponents were resilient and held up well against them the whole match.

Junior Owen Klowdowski agreed.

“They were very well balanced and were in control of the match,” Klodowski said.

Mincin and Klowdowski credited Ramil Islamov for his win.

“Ramil dominated his opponent,” Minicin said.

Mincin hopes for the team to improve on certain skills before their next game.

“We could improve on chain wrestling, going from one move to another,” Mincin said.

Klowdowski also thinks that the team should have more spirit and get more takedowns.
