The Baldwin competitive cheer team took fourth place overall in states this weekend and hit.

This is the first time Baldwin has hit in a competition, meaning that their routine received no deductions. This was a huge boost to the team’s confidence. Senior Ava Vavro is glad about the win.

“Now that we’ve finally hit at a competition I think we will be more confident going into nationals and will be able to hit again,” Vavro said.

The team has started to work on their game day routine for nationals, and they are very optimistic about it.

“I’m very excited for nationals in Disney because we all get to spend time together,” Vavro said.

The team will compete next at nationals in Disney from February 10-12th.
